Staff Engineering Manager, Packages

As a Staff Engineering Manager for Packages, you will oversee engineering teams responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining package management tools and workflows.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and high-quality output.
Ensure the delivery of robust and scalable solutions by reviewing architecture, code, and performance metrics.
Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to define priorities, roadmap, and execution strategies.
Drive process improvements, standardisation, and best practices across multiple projects.
Monitor team progress, resolve blockers, and maintain alignment with company objectives.

Qualification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in software engineering with 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
Strong experience in package management, CI/CD, or developer tooling preferred.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Proficient in software architecture, system design, and scalable engineering practices.
